Online Mandarin Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, organize, and deliver 45-minute online lessons tailored for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 lessons that merge language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Develop customized learning pathways.

• Monitor student progress throughout the lesson.

• Establish clear educational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• C2 proficiency in Mandarin.

• Possession of a valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or relevant university qualifications.

• Proven experience in online teaching and delivering 1:1 coaching or personalized learning support.

• A minimum of B1 level proficiency in English.

• Confidence in teaching skills related to presentations, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, and multicultural communication.

• Exceptional communication skills to engage and instruct students effectively.

• High-speed internet connection.

• A modern laptop or PC equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local regulations for freelancers/contractors.
