Online Japanese Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver 45-minute online lessons tailored for corporate clients.

• Provide individualized 1:1 lessons that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching.

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate student proficiency levels.

• Develop customized learning pathways for each learner.

• Monitor student progress throughout the lessons.

• Establish clear and achievable learning objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese at a C2 level.

• Possession of a valid teaching certificate, such as TEFL/CELTA, or relevant university degrees.

• Experience in online education and offering 1:1 coaching or tailored learning assistance.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Ability to teach skills such as presentation techniques, negotiation strategies, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication.

• Strong communication skills.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Modern laptop or desktop computer equipped with a microphone and camera.

• Must adhere to local freelance or contractor regulations.
