Online Faculty – Legal Environment of Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct courses on the Legal Environment of Business in an intensive five-week format.

• Conduct engaging live lectures weekly through Zoom.

• Offer practical, hands-on instruction that connects legal concepts with real-world business scenarios.

• Employ active-learning strategies and innovative teaching methods to boost student participation.

• Manage course activities, discussions, assignments, and assessments using Canvas.

• Provide prompt feedback, guidance, and academic assistance to students.

• Foster relationships with students and cultivate a supportive and approachable online learning atmosphere.

• Communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

• Assist students with basic technology or software inquiries related to the course and refer complex technical issues to the appropriate resources.

• Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in business administration, management, or a related discipline, with graduate coursework in business law, employment law, or legal studies; or a Juris Doctor (J.D.).

• 3–5 years of relevant professional or industry experience within the last decade in a related field.

• Experience may encompass compliance, contracts, HR/employment law, regulatory affairs, or corporate counsel roles.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.

• A current Windows-based computer and webcam that meet ECPI University's minimum technical standards.

• Capability to conduct and engage in weekly live lectures via Zoom.

• Availability during evenings and weekends to support students is required.

• A minimum of two years of online teaching experience is preferred.

• Strong online presentation and webinar facilitation abilities are preferred.

• Familiarity with Canvas LMS is preferred.
