Business Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual meetings with clients to collect information, define objectives, and showcase customized business planning solutions.

• Prepare and evaluate LLC and corporate formation documents, operating agreements, bylaws, and associated materials.

• Provide guidance on business succession and exit strategies, including buy-sell agreements and ownership transition methods.

• Align business planning with clients' estate planning, encompassing entity structuring, asset protection, and the transfer of business interests across generations.

• Lead meetings with clients and advisors.

• Collaborate with financial advisors, internal team members, and the of-counsel attorney network nationwide.

• Keep abreast of federal and state laws regarding business, tax, and succession planning.

• Offer advice on entity selection, ownership structuring, and the titling of business assets.

• Foster and sustain relationships with financial advisors and their leadership teams.

• Address client and advisor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with at least one state bar.

• Over 3 years of experience in business law, entity formation, and/or succession planning.

• In-depth understanding of business entity structuring and succession planning; experience in integrating business and estate planning is an advantage.

• Exceptional client-facing abilities: capable of conveying intricate business and legal concepts with clarity.

• Strong skills in organization, time management, analysis, drafting, and writing.

• Comfort in a technology-driven legal environment.
