Online English Lesson Content Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and design engaging, enjoyable, and age-appropriate online English lessons for children.

• Transform learning goals into clear, intuitive activities that inspire students to speak, think, interact, and engage.

• Develop lessons with well-defined and measurable learning outcomes.

• Construct content with effective pacing, scaffolding, and progression.

• Design activities, exercises, assessments, and supplementary materials across various Novakid products.

• Evaluate and enhance existing lessons based on feedback, observations, and performance metrics.

• Participate in content reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow writers.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Methodology, Proofreading, Design, Production, and Content.

• Share innovative ideas for new formats, activities, and captivating lesson strategies.

• Assist in pilots, new courses, and other Content initiatives as required.

• Keep abreast of advancements in education, children’s digital learning, and EdTech.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in higher education.

• Comprehensive knowledge of English language teaching and lesson planning.

• Experience in creating educational or teaching materials.

• A solid understanding of how to structure a lesson to achieve clear learning outcomes.

• Proficient in English - at least C1 level, both written and spoken.

• Strong digital proficiency and eagerness to learn new tools.

• Creative skills and the ability to transform a learning objective into genuinely engaging content for children.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Capability to accept and implement feedback.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.

• Comfort in utilizing AI in everyday content creation processes.

• Proficient in using AI for brainstorming, researching, adapting, and enhancing content.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated materials.

• Valuable experience may include online teaching, working with children, developing digital learning content, CEFR-aligned English programs, Google Workspace, Jira or similar tools, AI content creation tools, and interactive learning or digital products for children.
