Content Creator Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Fulfill deliverables outlined in the content calendar and propose ideas for approval.

• Create podcast episodes, which includes writing, recording, editing, and delivering finalized content to the podcast team lead.

• Conduct research and complete episode outlines by specified deadlines.

• Publish completed podcast episodes.

• Develop captivating podcast titles and thumbnails.

• Edit short-form reels from podcast episodes for social media platforms.

• Craft concise descriptions for uploads on Spotify and YouTube.

• Identify key audiences for various ONC podcast segments and formulate targeting strategies to enhance video engagement.

• Utilize social media and marketing expertise to boost podcast reach and interaction.

• Maintain effective communication with ONC team members through Slack, email, and Zoom.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in Communications, Video & Graphic Arts, Film/Video Production, Script Writing, or related fields; and/or a strong interest in Film Studies, Video Production, and/or Communication.

• Familiar with podcasting styles and current trends.

• Knowledgeable about social media platforms and fundamental marketing principles.

• Capable of writing concise and engaging titles and descriptions.

• Basic technical proficiency for creating thumbnails, editing reels, and preparing content for upload.

• Understanding of basic file management.

• Proficient in Sound Editing.

• Video Editing skills are preferred.

• An effective, responsive, and consistent communicator.

• Ability to work remotely and manage their own schedule to meet deadlines.

• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Must be available to attend organization-wide meetings biweekly.

• Must be able to participate in weekly Podcast team meetings.

• Must have authorization to intern in the U.S.

• A one-page Cover Letter must be included with the application.
