Online AP Pre-Calculus Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized support to students through personalized online tutoring sessions.

• Instruct students in AP Pre-Calculus and other advanced mathematical subjects.

• Teach a range of math topics from 6th grade up to college level.

• Conduct adaptable remote tutoring sessions for students throughout the United States.

• Engage with students to foster their academic achievements.

• Join a collaborative tutor community focused on mutual support and growth.

• Complete the onboarding process and activate tutoring services in accordance with the contract signing schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience within the U.S. is required.

• Must have provided teaching or tutoring services in the last 2 years.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in online tutoring is essential.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. curriculum and grading standards is required.

• Significant subject matter expertise in Math, particularly in AP Pre-Calculus and related advanced topics.

• Capability to tutor Math subjects from 6th grade to college level.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required.

• Availability during peak hours from Monday to Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET, is essential to connect with more students.

• A fast and reliable internet connection is necessary.

• A computer or laptop equipped with a microphone and camera is required.

• A stylus pen is highly recommended for effective annotations.

• A quiet and professional environment is essential for tutoring sessions.

• Direct and professional teaching or tutoring experience with students is mandatory; TA experience, peer tutoring, grader roles, SI positions, or lab assistant experience do not fulfill this requirement.

• Must complete onboarding and activation according to the relevant contract signing timeline.
