Online Adjunct Faculty – The Publishing Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Foster student engagement in an asynchronous and inclusive educational setting by offering guidance and resources in a pre-designed online course

• Deliver instruction, feedback, and experiential, application-oriented learning

• Assist students in reaching their academic and career aspirations

• Report to the faculty dean team

• Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes and proactively contact students who may require additional support

• Understand student needs holistically and connect them with appropriate resources

• Promote participation, collaboration, and nurturing faculty-student relationships

• Stay updated in the field of expertise and share knowledge and supplementary materials

• Simplify complex topics for better comprehension

• Assess student submissions and provide personalized, constructive feedback within designated timeframes

• Facilitate online discussions while creating an inclusive, engaging, and respectful atmosphere

⛳️ Requirements

• MFA or MA in Creative Writing

• Proven history of novel publication for at least two years in Contemporary fiction (Thriller, Mystery, Historical, Women's), Romance, Young Adult, and/or Speculative (Sci-fi/Fantasy/Horror) genres

• Preferred experience in both traditional and self-publishing
