This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Implement sales strategies by promoting both existing and potential new oncology therapeutics.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of product clinical effectiveness, offering clinical support/information, and meeting sales quotas.
• Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate account strategies aimed at boosting sales, identifying key accounts and healthcare professionals (HCPs), and developing penetration plans.
• Create customer-specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, inquiries, and supporting materials.
• Foster customer loyalty and establish new relationships.
• Persuade decision-makers by utilizing targeted sales messages based on precise clinical data and approved sales and marketing materials.
• Implement marketing strategies effectively at the local level.
• Work together with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team members and counterparts to improve business outcomes.
• Stay informed about specialty products, clinical and technical information, health economics, reimbursement, managed care, specialty pharmacies, and treatment options.
• Comprehend the healthcare delivery system within assigned accounts, including the hierarchy of physicians, pharmacy staff, and clinical nursing personnel.
• Participate in mandatory sales meetings and complete the required training curriculum.
• Handle healthcare compliance, expense reporting, call reporting, and other administrative tasks.
• Report directly to a District Manager.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales AND/OR significant hospital account sales experience.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend trips.
• At least two (2) years of direct selling experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics/biotech, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets OR relevant clinical experience.
• Familiarity with hospital and large account sales, comprehending complex reimbursement and managed care dynamics, with a record of successful sales performance in a competitive setting.
• Strong skills in relationship building and the ability to identify key decision-makers.
• High motivation to achieve and surpass goals.
• Must reside in the designated geography or be willing to relocate.
• Capability to effectively use virtual technology and a history of engaging customers in virtual face-to-face interactions.
• Preferred: Experience in hematology and/or rare disease specialty sales and a good understanding of the oncology market.
• Preferred: Prior product launch experience in a highly competitive scenario.
• Preferred: Experience with Multiple Myeloma.
