This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Promote existing and prospective oncology therapeutics to achieve sales objectives.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of product clinical effectiveness and offer clinical support/information as necessary.
• Meet or exceed sales targets.
• Conduct business assessments and seek new opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate strategies that enhance sales in the territory.
• Identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, and create penetration strategies.
• Develop tailored pre- and post-call plans for customers.
• Foster customer loyalty and build new relationships.
• Influence decision-makers by utilizing accurate clinical information along with approved sales and marketing resources.
• Implement local marketing strategies effectively.
• Work in conjunction with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team members and counterparts to improve business outcomes.
• Stay informed on assigned specialty products, relevant markets, clinical issues, technical details, and health economics.
• Understand the healthcare delivery systems within assigned accounts, including physician hierarchy, pharmacy staff, and clinical nursing personnel.
• Maintain awareness of reimbursement structures, patient demographics, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, protocols, and treatment methods.
• Participate in mandatory sales meetings and complete necessary training sessions.
• Fulfill healthcare compliance, expense reporting, call documentation, and other administrative duties.
• Report to a District Manager while working in a field-based capacity.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales and/or major hospital account sales is essential.
• A valid driver's license and the capability to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend trips.
• At least two (2) years of direct sales experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics/biotech, with a proven track record of achieving sales objectives, or relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales, with a comprehensive understanding of complex reimbursement and managed care dynamics, demonstrating successful sales performance in a competitive context.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to pinpoint key decision-makers.
• Strong drive to achieve and surpass goals.
• Must reside within the designated area or be willing to relocate.
• Proficient in utilizing virtual technology and a history of engaging customers through virtual face-to-face interactions.
• Preferred: Experience in hematology and/or rare disease specialty sales, along with a solid understanding of the oncology market.
• Preferred: Prior experience in launching products in a highly competitive setting.
• Preferred: Experience with Multiple Myeloma.
