This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote a recently approved oncology product to oncology practices within a designated geographic area.
• Engage in face-to-face discussions with oncologists, oncology nurses, office personnel, and pharmacists.
• Establish and nurture relationships along with regular communication with physicians and key opinion leaders across the US.
• Educate healthcare providers on the client’s oncology product, its approved uses, and patient support services.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the product, the disease state, customers, and the territory.
• Utilize the customer relationship management system to document call records and account strategies.
• Provide exceptional expertise and customer service to clients.
• Collaborate effectively and mobilize necessary resources.
• Complete training to gain a thorough understanding of the disease state and product positioning.
• Travel to medical offices and hospitals; anticipate approximately 80% travel, including some overnight trips.
• Commit to a 40-hour work week, which may include weekend medical meetings.
• A BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university is required; preferably in business, life sciences, or a clinical field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales is necessary.
• At least 1 year of oncology experience with an understanding of the integrated oncology network is essential.
• A consistent record of quantifiable/documented sales achievements is preferred.
• Capability to plan, analyze, and take action based on sales data within the assigned territory.
• Strong and persuasive communication skills with physicians and providers.
• Ability to work autonomously while exercising sound business judgment and discretion.
• Proficiency in identifying and addressing opportunities within the territory.
• Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% as necessary to cover the territory, within a 2-hour radius of the headquarters city; some overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to effectively conduct a clinical product sale.
• Demonstrated success in managing a territory.
• Strong knowledge of VEEVA systems is essential.
