Oncology Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals to deliver education on products and diseases, aiding patient management throughout the therapy process.

• Offer continuous education and resources pertaining to patient management, dosing, administration, and management of side effects.

• Collaborate with other field teams and regional colleagues while adhering to established operational guidelines.

• Primarily conduct face-to-face interactions with the healthcare community, utilizing virtual engagements when necessary or requested.

• Assess the educational needs of customers.

• Provide disease-state education to allied healthcare clinicians.

• Instruct clinicians on the proper identification of patients and the role of Venclexta in the treatment of CLL.

• Identify key allied healthcare clinicians within targeted accounts.

• Support local Patient Advocacy groups and their meetings.

• Attend and assist with pertinent national, regional, and local conferences and meetings.

• Record customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) is required.

• A Master's Degree in PA, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is preferred.

• An active healthcare professional license is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical oncology or hematology is necessary.

• Recent experience in clinical Hematology is required.

• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practices working with Hematology/Oncology patients is essential.

• Preferred experience and relationships with healthcare clinicians in the designated region.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, regionally and nationally.

• Intermediate computer proficiency, with familiarity in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and similar software.

• Must meet applicable Healthcare Industry Representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.

• Must maintain good standing and/or be eligible to acquire required HCIR credentials.

• Background checks, drug screenings, immunization/vaccination verification, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.
