Oncology Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Actively engage allied healthcare professionals through product and disease education.

• Offer continuous education and resources related to patient management, dosing, administration, and managing side effects.

• Collaborate with regional field teams according to established ways-of-working guidelines.

• Conduct in-person engagements within the healthcare community in the territory, with virtual interactions as necessary or requested.

• Assess the educational needs of customers.

• Deliver disease-state education to allied healthcare clinicians.

• Inform clinicians about proper patient identification and the role of Venclexta in the treatment of CLL.

• Identify key allied healthcare clinicians in targeted accounts.

• Assist local Patient Advocacy groups and their meetings.

• Participate in and support relevant national, regional, and local conferences and meetings.

• Record customer interactions and educational activities.

• Manage allocated resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or physician assistant studies is required.

• Must hold a current active healthcare provider license.

• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology is required.

• Recent experience in clinical Hematology is essential.

• Experience working with Hematology/Oncology patients in an academic and/or community oncology practice is necessary.

• Preferred experience and relationships with healthcare clinicians within the designated region.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, regionally and nationally.

• Intermediate computer proficiency, including familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and similar software.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the necessary HCIR credentials.

• May necessitate background checks, drug screening, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
