This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing education on products and diseases related to approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources concerning patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect management.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Function as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on identifying patients and approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide training on product preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Educate patient care teams on the initiation and management of patients in accordance with product protocols.
• Interpret and convey clinical education topics to a diverse range of audiences.
• Deliver disease-state education regarding diagnosis and management.
• Present approved educational programs through various formats including presentations, in-services, roundtables, and podium presentations.
• Record and share clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and present clinical information at national, regional, and local internal meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as needed.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and bolster internal sales-team competencies.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence functions.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting settings using approved materials.
• Document customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD is required.
• An active healthcare professional license is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is essential.
• Recent experience with multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Experience in both academic and community oncology practices, particularly with hematology/oncology patients.
• Strong communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Capability to adapt to change and embrace new learning opportunities.
• Proficient in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Ability to recognize evolving trends in the oncology market and their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently with effective time management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, which includes overnight travel and some weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Authorization and capability to operate a company-leased or rental vehicle.
