Oncology Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals to deliver product and disease education that supports patient management before, during, and after approved therapies.

• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect management.

• Work collaboratively with regional field teams while adhering to established guidelines of operation.

• Conduct face-to-face engagements with healthcare professionals in the territory, along with virtual interactions when requested or necessary.

• Assess the educational needs of customers.

• Provide education on disease states to allied healthcare clinicians.

• Instruct clinicians on appropriate patient identification and the role of Venclexta in the treatment of CLL.

• Identify key allied healthcare clinicians within targeted accounts.

• Support local patient advocacy groups and attend meetings.

• Participate in and support relevant national, regional, and local conferences and meetings.

• Record customer interactions and educational activities.

• Manage allocated resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) is required.

• Must possess a current active healthcare professional license.

• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology is required.

• Recent clinical experience in Hematology is essential.

• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice with Hematology/Oncology patients is required.

• Preferred experience and relationships with healthcare clinicians in the assigned region.

• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally.

• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and similar software.

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to secure necessary HCIR credentials.

• May be required to undergo background checks, drug screening, immunization/vaccination verification, fingerprinting, and obtain specific state or city licenses.
