This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing education on products and diseases that support patient management throughout the therapy process.
• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing, administration, and management of side effects.
• Work collaboratively with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Function as a strategic education leader within both academic and community oncology settings.
• Provide both proactive and reactive education to allied healthcare professionals and members of the patient care team.
• Create tailored educational plans that consider account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Inform clinicians about identifying patients and the approved therapies for hematologic and solid-tumor malignancies.
• Instruct on product preparation, administration, and strategies for adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Guide patient care teams on therapy initiation and patient management in accordance with product protocols.
• Interpret and convey clinical education topics to various audiences utilizing approved materials.
• Provide disease-state education, covering both clinical and operational dimensions of diagnosis and management.
• Present approved educational programs through one-on-one sessions, in-services, roundtables, and podium presentations.
• Record and disseminate clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and share clinical information or present at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as needed.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and improve the competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate with teams in sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical affairs, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting settings using approved materials and messaging.
• Track customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Must possess a current active healthcare professional (HCP) license.
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is essential.
• Experience with multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Background in academic and/or community oncology practice with hematology/oncology patients is required.
• Exceptional communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and embrace new learning opportunities.
• Proficient in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Knowledge of current oncology market trends and their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work independently with effective time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Authorization and capability to drive a company-leased or rental vehicle.
