This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals to provide product and disease education that supports patient management throughout the various stages of approved therapies.
• Offer ongoing education and resources related to patient management, including dosing, administration, and side-effect management.
• Work collaboratively with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Function as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on patient identification and approved treatment options for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on product preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Guide patient care teams on treatment initiation and patient management in accordance with product protocols.
• Interpret and convey approved clinical education topics to a variety of audiences.
• Deliver disease-state education that encompasses clinical and operational diagnosis and management.
• Present approved education programs through presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
• Document and disseminate clinical insights by employing strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Participate in internal meetings to provide clinical information or presentations.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and bolster internal sales-team competencies.
• Collaborate with various oncology-related internal functions, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical affairs, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients in approved patient advocacy meeting environments.
• Record customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Current active healthcare professional (HCP) license is essential.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is mandatory.
• Recent experience in multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Experience in both academic and community oncology practices working with hematology/oncology patients.
• Exceptional communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace new learning opportunities.
• Experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Ability to identify evolving trends in the oncology market and understand their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Necessary authorization and capability to operate a company-leased vehicle or rental.
