This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing product and disease education that supports patient management before, during, and after approved therapies.
• Offer education and resources concerning patient management, dosing and administration, as well as side-effect management.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Function as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Provide education to clinicians regarding patient identification and approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Instruct on product preparation and administration, as well as adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Guide patient-care teams on treatment initiation and patient management in accordance with product protocols.
• Interpret and convey clinical education topics to varied audiences utilizing approved materials.
• Deliver disease-state education that encompasses clinical and operational diagnosis and management.
• Conduct approved 1:1 presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
• Record and share clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and the competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate across oncology business functions, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially educate patients in patient advocacy meeting settings using approved materials.
• Document customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Current active HCP license is necessary.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical oncology/hematology experience is required.
• Recent clinical experience in Hematology is mandatory.
• Recent experience with multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Experience in both academic and/or community oncology practice working with Hematology/Oncology patients is essential.
• Excellent skills in communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical thinking, and presentations.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace learning opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Knowledge of evolving oncology market trends and their impact on providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team is necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with effective time management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, which may include overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Authorization and capability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental vehicle.
• Required work authorization to perform the responsibilities of the role.
