This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals to provide education on products and disease management for approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect management.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Act as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on patient identification and the approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on product preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Train patient care teams on the initiation and management of patients in accordance with product protocols.
• Effectively communicate approved clinical education topics to a variety of audiences.
• Deliver disease-state education that encompasses clinical and operational diagnosis and management.
• Present approved education programs through various formats such as presentations, in-services, roundtables, and podium presentations.
• Document and share clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Attend and present clinical information at national, regional, and local internal meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays whenever appropriate.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and improve internal sales team competencies.
• Collaborate with various oncology business functions, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting settings using approved materials.
• Record customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or PharmD is required.
• A current active healthcare professional license is necessary.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology is required.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is mandatory.
• Experience in multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Familiarity with academic and/or community oncology practice involving hematology/oncology patients is essential.
• Exceptional communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills are required.
• Experience with adapting to change and a commitment to continuous learning is necessary.
• Ability to interpret clinical and pharmacoeconomic data is essential.
• Capability to identify evolving trends in the oncology market and understand their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team is essential.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently with effective time management skills are required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Authorization and capability to operate a company-leased vehicle or rental vehicle are essential.
