This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing product and disease education that aids in patient management throughout the stages of approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources concerning patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect handling.
• Collaborate with field teams in accordance with established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Function as a strategic education leader in both academic and community oncology settings.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on identifying patients and approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor cancers.
• Provide education on preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management processes.
• Train patient care teams on how to initiate and manage patients in line with product protocols.
• Deliver sanctioned clinical education through one-on-one presentations, in-services, round tables, and podium discussions.
• Record and disseminate clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Participate in and deliver clinical information at internal meetings on national, regional, and local levels.
• Assist with exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and improve internal sales team competencies.
• Collaborate across functions such as sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical affairs, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide approved education to patients in settings related to patient advocacy meetings.
• Document customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or PharmD is mandatory.
• Must hold a current active healthcare provider license.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology is required.
• Recent clinical experience in Hematology is necessary.
• Recent experience with multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Background in academic and/or community oncology practice working with Hematology/Oncology patients is essential.
• Strong communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills are required.
• Experience in adapting to change and embracing new learning opportunities is important.
• Proficiency in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data is necessary.
• Ability to recognize emerging oncology market trends and their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team environment is required.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to work independently with effective time management skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other related applications is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• Authorization and capability to drive a company-leased or rental vehicle are necessary.
