This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing education related to products and diseases to support patient management throughout the therapy process.
• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing and administration, as well as side-effect management.
• Work collaboratively with field teams following established guidelines to assist allied healthcare clinicians.
• Function as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology settings.
• Create tailored educational plans informed by account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on patient identification and approved treatment options for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Train patient-care teams on protocols for treatment initiation and ongoing patient management.
• Interpret and relay clinical educational topics to various audiences using sanctioned materials.
• Deliver disease-state education focused on diagnosis and patient management strategies.
• Present approved educational programs through various formats including presentations, in-services, roundtables, and podium events.
• Document and share clinical insights utilizing strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Attend and present clinical information at national, regional, and local internal meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as appropriate.
• Enhance clinical training and competencies within the internal sales team.
• Collaborate across oncology business functions, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical affairs, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting environments using approved materials.
• Record customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or PharmD is required.
• An active healthcare professional license is mandatory.
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology.
• Recent experience in clinical hematology is essential.
• Preference for candidates with recent experience in multiple myeloma.
• Background in academic and/or community oncology practice with a focus on hematology/oncology patients is necessary.
• Strong communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to adapt to change and embrace ongoing learning.
• Experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Capability to recognize evolving trends in the oncology market and their implications for providers and patients.
• Proven experience working within a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with effective time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, which includes overnight travel and potential weekend commitments.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Must have the authorization and capability to operate a company-leased or rental vehicle.
• Residency within a reasonable distance from the primary state is necessary.
