This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engage proactively with allied healthcare professionals by providing education on products and diseases to support patient management throughout the therapy process.
• Offer continuous education and resources concerning patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect mitigation.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established guidelines to assist allied healthcare clinicians.
• Act as a strategic leader in education across both academic and community oncology settings.
• Create tailored educational plans that reflect account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Inform clinicians about patient identification and approved therapies for both hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on product preparation, administration, adverse-event mitigation, and monitoring strategies.
• Train patient care teams on initiating and managing patients in accordance with product protocols.
• Analyze and convey clinical education topics to varied audiences using authorized materials.
• Raise awareness about disease states and facilitate appropriate patient diagnosis and management.
• Conduct approved educational programs through various formats including one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
• Record and disseminate clinical insights utilizing strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Attend and deliver clinical information or presentations at national, regional, and local internal meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and the clinical competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate across oncology business areas, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical affairs, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially educate patients in advocacy meetings using approved materials and messaging.
• Document customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• A Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD is required.
• A current active healthcare provider license is necessary.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology is required.
• Recent experience in clinical hematology is essential.
• Recent experience with multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology settings with hematology/oncology patients is required.
• Exceptional communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills are necessary.
• Proven experience in adapting to changes and embracing new learning opportunities is required.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Ability to identify evolving trends in the oncology market and their implications for providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Authorization and capability to drive a company-leased or rental vehicle is necessary.
