This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals to provide education on products and diseases related to approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing and administration, as well as side-effect management.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established ways-of-working guidelines.
• Create tailored educational plans that reflect account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Inform clinicians about patient identification and the approved therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on product preparation, administration, and the mitigation, monitoring, and management of adverse events.
• Guide patient care teams on how to initiate and manage patients in alignment with product protocols.
• Convey clinical education topics to a variety of audiences using sanctioned materials.
• Deliver disease-state education that encompasses diagnosis and management.
• Execute approved educational programs through presentations, in-services, roundtables, and podium discussions.
• Record and share clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal meetings.
• Assist with exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Support clinical training initiatives and enhance the competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate with various oncology-related functions, including sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients at advocacy meetings using approved materials.
• Keep a record of customer interactions and educational activities, managing allocated resources efficiently.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or PharmD is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• A current active healthcare professional license is necessary.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical oncology/hematology is required.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is mandatory.
• Experience in multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Background in academic and/or community oncology practice with hematology/oncology patients is essential.
• Strong communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills are required.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace continuous learning.
• Experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data is necessary.
• Ability to identify evolving oncology market trends and their implications for providers and patients.
• Proven success in operating within a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are necessary.
• Required authorization and capability to operate a company-leased or rental vehicle.
