This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing product and disease education that supports patient management throughout the continuum of approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources concerning patient management, dosing and administration, and the handling of side effects.
• Collaborate with field teams following established guidelines to assist allied healthcare clinicians.
• Act as a strategic education leader across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Create tailored educational plans based on the dynamics of accounts and clinical insights.
• Instruct clinicians on procedures for patient identification and approved therapies pertinent to hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide education on product preparation and administration, adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Train patient care teams on the initiation and management of patients in accordance with product protocols.
• Interpret and convey clinical education topics to various audiences utilizing approved materials.
• Deliver disease-state education that encompasses clinical and operational diagnosis and management.
• Present approved educational programs through one-on-one presentations, in-services, round tables, podium presentations, and other sanctioned methods.
• Record and share clinical insights by employing strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Participate in and provide clinical information or presentations at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and improve the competencies of internal sales teams.
• Collaborate with teams in sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially educate patients during patient advocacy meetings using approved materials.
• Log customer interactions and educational activities while managing allocated resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or PharmD is required.
• Current active healthcare professional license is necessary.
• A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in oncology/hematology.
• Recent clinical experience in hematology is essential.
• Preferred experience in multiple myeloma.
• Background in academic and/or community oncology practice working with hematology/oncology patients.
• Exceptional communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and a willingness to embrace learning.
• Proficient in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Awareness of current oncology market trends and their impacts on providers and patients.
• Experience in operating within a cross-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with effective time management.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other related applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Authorization and ability to operate a company-leased vehicle or rental.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary state.
