This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver scientific information, presentations, and promote the relevant AbbVie products to both office-based and hospital-based specialists while adhering to Section 76 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG).
• Execute the brand strategy effectively.
• Perform market and regional market analyses concerning sales growth for the company's products as well as competitors' offerings.
• Identify potential opportunities and significant developments.
• Create, align, and execute a territory plan in collaboration with the in-field team.
• Competently manage customer relationships and actively consult with physicians, pharmacists, and, where appropriate, healthcare organizations.
• Design, organize, and facilitate training events, and participate in regional and national events.
• Establish and expand networks among hospitals, office-based physicians, and other stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Collect market information and customer insights to ascertain each customer’s position within the sales cycle.
• Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Manager.
• Deliver professional reporting and complete administrative tasks punctually.
• Collaborate efficiently within and outside the in-field team.
• Promote open communication and a continuous exchange of experiences and ideas.
• Take proactive measures to address customer needs.
• Share accountability for achieving regional targets.
• Adhere to legal, regulatory, ethical, and compliance standards.
• A completed university degree in a natural science, qualification as a pharmaceutical sales representative, or the requisite expertise as stipulated in Section 75 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG).
• Fundamental understanding of Good Practice (GxP).
• Experience in an in-field team and leading interdisciplinary projects within a matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area.
• Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a demonstrated record of above-average sales performance preferred; experience in the applicable therapeutic area is advantageous.
• Ability to present intricate scientific concepts in a manner tailored to various target groups and engage in discussions with different customer demographics.
• Highly persuasive with strong presentation and closing skills, as well as excellent communication abilities, including expertise in the Challenger methodology.
• Exceptional ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and creatively and independently modify working methods accordingly.
• A high degree of motivation and energy focused on pursuing and achieving targets.
• Excellent performance management skills to continuously enhance sales target accomplishment.
• Strong digital proficiency and proven competency with field sales tools, including Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with a creative mindset.
