This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth within the territory through strategic prospecting, value-driven sales, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as the preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence services.
• Assess territory opportunities and create strategic sales plans.
• Achieve or surpass revenue, activity, and performance objectives.
• Build and nurture customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.
• Keep communication open with account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is compromised.
• Implement retention, upselling, and cross-selling strategies effectively.
• Engage with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology laboratories, and hospitals.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide guidance on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Offer insights on billing, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and laboratory operational workflows.
• Relay market trends, customer insights, and competitive information to leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the CRM and fulfill administrative responsibilities.
• Oversee assigned company assets.
• Assist with meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
• Execute other assigned tasks.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• A solid understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement environments is required.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment is important.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools is needed.
• A valid driver’s license and a readiness to travel frequently are required.
• Completion of pre-employment requirements, including applicable background, drug, credit, and reference checks, is necessary.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Existing relationships within the oncology or pathology fields.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended durations.
• Ability to lift routine office materials.
• Remote work arrangement available in Tennessee.
