Oncologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop realistic and intricate oncology tasks and scenarios, particularly those related to clinical trials.

• Assess AI-generated clinical reasoning for its precision, thoroughness, and conformity with current standard-of-care protocols.

• Detect flawed logic, overlooked diagnoses, incomplete treatment justifications, and unsafe recommendations in model outputs.

• Deliver clear, well-organized expert responses and logical reasoning that mirrors authentic clinical decision-making.

• Uphold high standards of clinical rigor and accuracy.

• Conduct credential verification for license status, fellowship completion, and current practice.

• Partner with a leading AI research laboratory through Mercor to train and improve cutting-edge AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with a completed fellowship in medical oncology or hematology/oncology.

• Active, unrestricted US medical license.

• Currently practicing in the United States and treating oncology patients.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship experience in the current role is strongly preferred.

• Active participation in or direct experience with oncology clinical trials as a PI, sub-investigator, or treating physician.

• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial protocols and eligibility criteria.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including FDA and RECIST criteria.

• Ability to articulate clinical reasoning clearly and accurately in written communication.

• Strong attention to detail when assessing the accuracy and safety of AI-generated medical content.

• Must not be a radiation oncologist, surgical oncologist, or an oncologist not currently in clinical practice.
