This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement the company’s strategic initiatives at the field level in Ohio.
• Assess, apply, and execute programs in alignment with brand strategies.
• Lead, guide, train, and supervise local distributor sales teams.
• Oversee daily operations of distributors, ensuring compliance with brand policies, distribution goals, and promotional activities.
• Provide training to distributor sales staff and assess their execution regarding initiatives.
• Assist the Regional Manager.
• Create and maintain a list of key on-premise accounts and establish regular contact frequency.
• Organize planning and review meetings with distributor and on-premise sales representatives.
• Present and promote company brands to boost volume and support distributor objectives.
• Ensure visibility at distributor offices and engage with sales representatives and management.
• Align with significant local events and take part in strategically relevant opportunities.
• Act as the main contact for distributor sales teams and assist in sales activities.
• Conduct product seminars for accounts and distributor sales teams.
• Provide updates on National Account Mandate compliance.
• Keep track of customer and consumer trends.
• Maintain an activities and promotions calendar while coordinating communications.
• Submit monthly market activity reports to the Regional Manager.
• Offer market and competitive brand updates, including changes in field conditions and staffing.
• Review program and execution updates with distributor management.
• Provide insights on marketing and sales initiatives, programs, POS, and advertising.
• Complete special projects, such as verifying pricing and distribution at on-premise accounts.
• Occasionally perform off-premise tasks as directed.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Over five (5) years of relevant experience in the distilled spirits/wine supplier industry.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather data from various sources and present it to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with sales and marketing principles and methodologies, encompassing marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Effective managerial and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the ProDriver reporting system.
• Capacity to occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, operate a computer, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Advanced computer skills with a focus on Management and/or Marketing are advantageous but not mandatory.
