This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.
• Design, analyze, and maintain the integrity of piping systems that facilitate the conveyance and transportation of oil, gas, and water.
• Create efficient layouts for piping systems.
• Conduct hydraulic and stress analysis.
• Review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric drawings.
• Ensure that systems comply with ASME, API, ASTM, and water-industry standards.
• Assist in fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes.
• Address issues related to flow, pressure, vibration, and corrosion.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Over 5 years of pertinent engineering experience.
• Background in oil and gas and/or water piping design, facility engineering, or pipeline projects.
• Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction documents.
• Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Strong skills in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, or comparable design software is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience using CAESAR II.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, relevant API codes, and standards for water pipeline design.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, site visits, and short-term construction tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
