OCP Engineer, FIX Messaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Design and manage OCP/container platform environments

• Collaborate with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container (OCP)

• Engage with Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access solutions

• Develop Dockerfiles, create images, operate containers, and oversee Docker volumes and registries

• Manage Linux and networking environments

• Utilize scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python

• Work with FIX protocol and oversee FIX order flow

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience with Kubernetes and other container technologies

• 5 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container (OCP)

• Familiarity with Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access solutions

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering

• Proficiency in creating Dockerfiles, building images, running containers, and managing Docker volumes and registries

• Strong understanding of FIX protocol and FIX order flow

• Solid administration skills in Linux and networking

• Competence in a scripting language such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
