OCP Engineer, FIX Messaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Deliver innovative and tailored recruitment and staffing solutions

• Act as a reliable business partner to clients

• Assist in developing hiring strategies, assessing talent availability, and conducting compensation benchmarking

• Collaborate with staffing trade associations, training institutions, and research organizations to remain updated on industry trends and technologies

• Design and manage Kubernetes and container platforms, including the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform

• Engage with FIX messaging, order flows, and products such as Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access

• Generate Dockerfiles, create images, operate containers, and oversee Docker volumes and registries

• Manage Linux and networking systems while utilizing scripting languages

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience with Kubernetes and other container platforms

• 5 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container (OCP)

• Familiarity with Broadridge Appia, open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access products

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering

• Proficiency in creating Dockerfiles, building images, running containers, and managing Docker volumes and registries

• Strong understanding of the FIX protocol and FIX order flow

• Solid administrative knowledge of Linux and networking environments

• Competence in a scripting language such as Shell, Perl, or Python
