
OCONUS Travel Compliance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Act as a liaison with the International Business Office and governmental agencies to facilitate travel arrangements for OCONUS locations.
β’ Coordinate and manage Letters of Authorization using the SPOT system.
β’ Relay compliance requirements and updates to the appropriate personnel.
β’ Ensure that passports, visas, LOAs, APACS, and other necessary clearances are obtained prior to travel.
β’ Organize OCONUS travel logistics while ensuring adherence to SOFA requirements and travel policies.
β’ Guarantee compliance with DoD regulations, Joint Travel Regulations, Federal Travel Regulations, and organizational policies.
β’ Keep updated on the Country Clearance Guide and communicate any changes effectively.
β’ Conduct routine audits and reviews of travel documentation.
β’ Ensure that travel processes are efficient, cost-effective, and fulfill contract obligations.
β’ Identify and report any non-compliance issues to Program Management.
β’ Update and maintain personal information for deployed personnel throughout their deployment or TDY.
β’ Maintain precise travel documentation records and monitor the execution of plans.
β’ Track the status of document acquisition for travel compliance.
β’ Ensure that the appropriate documentation is submitted for travel claims and expenses.
β’ Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to generate reports, track documentation, and communicate travel requirements.
β’ Perform additional program support tasks as needed.
β’ Assist in the development and updating of OCONUS travel policies and procedures.
β’ Provide training and guidance on travel compliance requirements.
β’ Collaborate with Program Management to create operational content, SOPs, training resources, communications, and procedural documentation.
β’ Minimum Secret clearance is required to begin.
β’ Strong understanding of federal regulations and DoD policy compliance concerning OCONUS travel.
β’ Experience with the Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) system is essential.
β’ Bachelorβs degree alongside 3+ years of professional experience is required.
β’ Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
β’ Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively within a fast-paced environment.
β’ A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
β’ Experience in government service is preferred.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal oversight is desirable.
