Occupational Therapist – School Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist students in developing the practical, emotional, and physical skills necessary for enhanced independence in both academic and daily activities.

• Conduct virtual occupational therapy sessions.

• Infuse creativity and clinical expertise into each session.

• Tailor strategies to align with students’ unique environments and individual needs.

• Enhance student function, self-confidence, and engagement in their education.

• Collaborate with colleagues and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

• Independently resolve challenges and manage time and tasks efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid Ohio Board License in Occupational Therapy.

• Ohio Department of Education 5-year Pupil Services License.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational setting.

• Exhibits ethical conduct, adheres to policies, and takes responsibility for actions.

• Collaborates effectively with colleagues and contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment.

• Maintains a growth mindset, responds positively to challenges, and can troubleshoot independently.

• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and consistently manages time and tasks effectively.
