Mental Health Therapist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions.

• Develop customized treatment plans for clients.

• Perform intake assessments for new clients.

• Complete reviews of insurance notes.

• Collaborate in discussions with the treatment team and assist in discharge planning.

• Facilitate IOP group sessions as necessary.

• Participate in therapeutic discussions with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered mental health support in a virtual environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Full clinical licensure in Maryland is required.

• Preference for Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC); provisional licensure may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• At least one year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions is preferred.

• Proficient in DBT, TF-CBT, and/or ERP.

• Experience working with adolescents and young adults is essential.

• Previous experience with online therapy is highly desired.

• Must be available for some group hours from Monday to Thursday, 4–10 pm EST.
