Mental Health Therapist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Provide remote, evidence-informed therapy to adult clients aged 18 and older

• Utilize therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT, TLDP, IPT, EFT, and MI

• Manage a client caseload of 7 to 20 sessions weekly

• Allocate approximately 85% of total work time to direct client care, encompassing therapy sessions and assessments for new clients

• Participate in manager check-ins: 1 hour weekly for the first 6 weeks, then 30 minutes monthly

• Employ data to enhance treatment efficacy and modify approaches based on client advancement

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and make referrals when suitable

• Complete, sign, and secure documentation in the EMR within 48 hours following client interaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an independent license in Iowa as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)

• Eager and driven to obtain licensure in other states; the employer will cover all associated costs

• At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults (18+)

• Minimum of 6 months of teletherapy experience

• Proficient in clinical assessments such as the PHQ-9

• Comfortable using EHR systems

• Available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST

• Commitment to 8 to 24 total hours of availability per week
