This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Provide comprehensive and specialized Womenβs Metabolic Health care to women throughout their lifespan.
β’ Conduct thorough, age-appropriate assessments, comprising detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
β’ Carry out intake evaluations for women who are at risk or struggling with overweight/obesity and/or experiencing symptomatic menopause.
β’ Educate patients on obesity as a chronic, multifactorial condition and discuss long-term health strategies.
β’ Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to assist with nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and sustainable habit transformation.
β’ Order diagnostic tests and prescribe medications in accordance with established scope and protocols.
β’ Offer virtual and phone-based consultations for patients.
β’ Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical teammates, supervising physicians, and interdisciplinary partners.
β’ Conduct ongoing systematic assessments and data collection, addressing physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, cognitive, educational, family, and advocacy needs.
β’ Review medical records for follow-up and order diagnostic studies under established protocols.
β’ Respond to urgent or emergency situations in line with established protocols and document actions appropriately.
β’ Adhere to safety, risk management, confidentiality, legal, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Utilize EHR systems, clinical technology, and telehealth tools for documenting, tracking, and communicating care.
β’ Masterβs or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MS, MSN, or DNP).
β’ Board certification in FNP, AGNP, or WHNP.
β’ Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP License, Prescriptive Authority, and DEA.
β’ Active enrollment/participation with Pennsylvania Medical Insurance Payors.
β’ Preferred MSCP Certification from the Menopause Society or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of experience in Obesity Medicine is required, including managing GLP-1 medications and providing education and coaching on lifestyle modifications.
β’ Virtual practice experience is highly preferred.
β’ A Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity from OMA or TOS/AAPA is a plus.
β’ Must reside in Pennsylvania.
β’ Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
β’ Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
