Nurse Practitioner, Telehealth – Per-Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform Annual Medical Clearance evaluations (Good Faith Exams) using video and audio technology.

• Provide remote triage and treatment for patients via a secure telemedicine platform.

• Offer individualized education and suggest wellness-oriented treatment plans.

• Assist with clinical coordination for on-site patient visits as necessary.

• Provide clear and compassionate virtual healthcare.

• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Engage in the telehealth provider schedule, which includes weekend shifts, supporting a 7-day-a-week operational model.

• Finalize clinical documentation.

• Approve patient charts.

• Oversee e-prescriptions and laboratory orders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in both California and Texas (mandatory).

• A minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner (NP) experience in California.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Competence in EMRs, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.

• A quiet, professional, and distraction-free home work setting with dependable internet connectivity.

• Must be available for all scheduled shifts on weekend days.

• Availability for at least 4 weekend days each month.

• Ability to work 8-hour shifts plus a 1-hour lunch within the hours of 7:00 AM–8:00 PM PST.

• Capability to work exclusively on Pacific Time.

• CA NP 103/104 certification preferred, but not mandatory.
