
Nurse Practitioner β Menopause Care and Wellness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
β’ Deliver thorough virtual assessments, diagnoses, treatments, education, and follow-up for patients dealing with menopause-related symptoms and issues.
β’ Act as a clinical resource for conditions associated with menopause, encompassing sexual health and wellness, osteoporosis and bone health, sleep, and the long-term impacts of menopause.
β’ Create personalized treatment plans that include hormone therapy, non-hormonal therapies, lifestyle changes, patient education, and referrals.
β’ Provide care for both self-referred patients and those referred by Axia OB/GYN providers.
β’ Communicate clinical findings, recommendations, and treatment strategies to referring OB/GYNs.
β’ Facilitate continuity and coordination of care with established OB/GYN providers and care teams.
β’ Assess and manage common menopause-related issues, including vasomotor symptoms, mood fluctuations, weight and metabolic concerns, and cognitive symptoms.
β’ Collaborate with referring OB/GYN providers for patients experiencing complex symptoms or requiring care outside the virtual programβs scope.
β’ Refer non-menopause-related issues to OB/GYNs, primary care providers, or suitable specialists.
β’ Engage in quality reviews of virtual care outcomes, clinical metrics, and patient experience data.
β’ Participate in the Menopause Clinician Workgroup.
β’ Contribute to clinical protocols, workflows, patient education, and resources for providers.
β’ Develop educational materials for managing complex menopause symptoms across the Axia network.
β’ Support provider education regarding virtual menopause and sexual wellness services.
β’ Work together with the Menopause Medical Director and clinical team on quality improvement and program development.
β’ Proven clinical expertise in menopause management, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatment alternatives, and managing complex patients.
β’ Specialized knowledge and experience in menopause-related issues, particularly in sexual health and wellness, bone health/osteoporosis, sleep, and other midlife women's health matters.
β’ Strong clinical judgment with the capability to independently assess and manage patients via virtual care.
β’ Comfortable delivering care through telehealth modalities and effectively engaging patients in a virtual setting.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially when coordinating care with referring OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals.
β’ Ability to acquire and maintain additional state licensure as necessary to support Axiaβs virtual care model.
β’ Dedication to evidence-based, patient-centered care and ongoing clinical education.
β’ Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Science (MS), or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
β’ Board certification as a WHNP, FNP, ANP, or AGNP.
β’ Current, unrestricted advanced practice licensure in at least one of NJ, PA, KY, or IN.
β’ Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential or actively pursuing this credential.
β’ Demonstrated clinical experience in managing menopause, including prescribing and overseeing hormone therapy.
β’ Experience in developing clinical education, provider resources, or program materials.
β’ Preferred experience in clinical program development, workgroups, or quality improvement initiatives.
β’ Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus.
β’ Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
