This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Integrate clinical practice with educational initiatives and leadership as a proficient clinician in the relevant specialty area.
• Supervise and execute concurrent, pre-billing, and retrospective audits of billed services against medical records to pinpoint lost revenue.
• Discover opportunities for accurate billing and ascertain root causes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to establish standardized charging and documentation procedures.
• Engage in the yearly review of the departmental chargemaster.
• Support the training of clinical personnel on updates to the chargemaster.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum required experience: 4 years.
• Experience in procedural coding, billing, and auditing is essential.
• In-depth understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to billing government payers is advantageous.
• Proven capability to work independently with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• National certification in the relevant departmental specialty is preferred.
