Norwegian Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Engage with language models in Norwegian language scenarios

• Test advanced language models on aspects such as grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, pragmatics, and other related subjects

• Assess factual correctness and logical consistency

• Document reproducible error traces and outline failure modes

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Contribute to the training of the next generation of AI for Norwegian speakers

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Norwegian language

• In-depth understanding of Norwegian grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics

• Familiarity with verb conjugation, noun inflection, sentence structure, distinctions between Bokmål and Nynorsk, regional dialects, and both formal and informal registers within the Norwegian writing system

• Excellent metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your thought process

• A master's or PhD in Norwegian language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred

• Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or involvement in hands-on linguistic analysis projects are beneficial indicators of suitability
