This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Operate test vehicles across various states while gathering data during multi-day missions.
• Ensure the transfer of collected data back to Latitude.
• Maintain a work schedule of 6 days, working up to 60 hours per week, on a 3-weeks-on, 1-week-off rotation.
• Conduct daily start-up, system engagement/disengagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
• Supervise and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while on the move.
• Implement data collection in accordance with safety and compliance protocols.
• Keep thorough reports on system performance and data collection accomplishments.
• Represent Latitude in a professional and responsible manner while driving in public spaces.
• Prioritize the safety of all road users.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, along with two years of work experience, is mandatory.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence is required.
• Must fulfill Latitude AI’s minimum driving record standards, which will be verified through Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hiring and periodically thereafter.
• An active passport or passport card is necessary.
• Capability to pass a ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks before employment and periodically thereafter.
• Comfortable with extended hours of driving and working closely with others.
• A strong interest in technology with the ability to quickly adapt to challenges and changes.
• Proficient in computer usage, including typing, checking network connections, and navigating web-based applications.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for software and hardware.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Capability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and data logging tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Jira, Slack, Driver Schedule, or similar project management tools is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Airfare is covered for travel to and from the designated location.
• A schedule of 3 weeks working followed by 1 week off.
• 1-year (12-month) contract assignment.
