Node.js Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Enhance and expand current systems to accommodate multi-region AWS infrastructures within the first six months.

• Transition into and provide expertise to another core team following the initial phase.

• Provide technical leadership in adapting and deploying existing backend systems to multi-region AWS architectures, ensuring low latency and high availability.

• Design, construct, and oversee Event-Driven Architectures for scalability, resilience, and asynchronous service processing.

• Collaborate with Web, Mobile, and Product Owner teams utilizing Scrum agile methodologies.

• Maintain code quality and sustainability by applying Clean Architecture principles and adhering to software best practices.

• Utilize AI tools to address technical obstacles and enhance delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in Backend Software Development.

• Advanced expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.

• Significant hands-on experience in AWS cloud development, particularly with containerization and orchestration using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).

• In-depth knowledge of Kafka and Event-Driven Architectures (required).

• Strong experience with relational databases, ideally MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Practical and demonstrable application of Clean Architecture principles and design patterns.

• Proven experience in designing or implementing multi-region cloud deployments.

• Active user of Artificial Intelligence tools utilized daily to support software development and resolve technical issues.

• Strong self-management, initiative, and accountability, coupled with excellent communication skills to convey technical solutions to cross-platform teams and business stakeholders.

• Previous experience in the Fintech sector or high-throughput transactional industry (nice to have).

• Familiarity with micro-frontend or multi-platform integrations (Web/Mobile) (nice to have).
