This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Conduct age-appropriate medical histories and virtual examinations; assess, diagnose, formulate treatment plans, and record findings
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring safety
• Record patient medical details and review medical history during each visit
• Seek consultations or referrals when necessary
• Advise and educate patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required
• Assess, triage, and manage pediatric and adult patients for urgent care, chronic disease management, and mental health issues
• Stay updated on current medical research and trends
• Offer administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results
• Collaborate with providers and support teams
• Report to the Medical Director of Urgent Care
• Board-certified physician
• Completion of a 3-year residency in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Over 3 years of post-residency experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient environment
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual-boarded in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
• Completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
• Eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)
• Possession of an active and unrestricted state medical license in at least one state; residing in an IMLC state is mandatory
• Experience and comfort in providing care for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults
• Capability to operate within an integrated medical practice
• Extensive clinical expertise
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with technology
• Must not currently be excluded or sanctioned by any state or federal healthcare program
• Must maintain an active status with Medicare
• Reliable and consistent attendance at the assigned work location
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods
• Adequate eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to use keyboard, computer, and office equipment
• Ability to occasionally exert approximately 20 pounds of force
• Availability to work 1,560 annual hours, including 60 hours per pay period
• Availability for weeknight 8-hour shifts between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the clinician’s timezone
• Availability for every-other-weekend Saturday and Sunday 8-hour shifts between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the clinician’s timezone
• Availability for three holiday shifts each calendar year
