Nocturnist Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct high-quality psychiatric assessments and consultations for emergency departments and inpatient teams.

• Provide remote consult-liaison psychiatric services to patients of all age groups.

• Assess patients aged 5 and older within emergency department environments.

• Collaborate with skilled Iris PMHNPs.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare systems.

• Deliver care to underserved populations throughout the nation.

• Take part in initiatives aimed at quality improvement.

• Utilize AI-enhanced systems and advanced tools to optimize workflows and care delivery.

• Commit to full-time nocturnist shifts, including rotating weekend responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid medical license in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

• IMLC Letter of Qualification is advantageous.

• Successful completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.

• Board Certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of post-residency experience in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry via telehealth.

• Experience and readiness to evaluate patients aged 5 and above in Emergency Department settings.

• Required telehealth experience using Epic EMR.

• Comfortable operating within various health systems and dealing with diverse levels of patient acuity.

• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

• Willingness to undertake 13–16 overnight shifts monthly, including rotating weekend duties.
