Nocturnist Consult-Liaison PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote telepsychiatry consultations for inpatient and emergency room settings.

• Provide treatment to patients of all ages, including those 5 years and older in emergency room environments.

• Commit to working 13–16 overnight shifts each month, which includes 3–4 shifts on weekends.

• Collaborate as a member of a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team.

• Offer comprehensive behavioral healthcare services to patients in underserved areas.

• Engage with various health systems and manage differing levels of patient acuity.

• Utilize advanced technologies, including AI-supported systems, to enhance workflows and optimize patient care.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Concentrate on patient care while Iris Telehealth manages licensing, credentialing, IT, onboarding, and administrative responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMHNP-BC ANCC Board Certification is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of prescribing experience in consult-liaison within inpatient/emergency room settings.

• At least 2 years of clinical telehealth experience in consult-liaison after obtaining PMHNP-BC.

• Prior telehealth experience is essential; familiarity with EPIC software is an advantage.

• Experience and willingness to treat patients aged 5 and older for emergency department consultations.

• Availability for 32 hours per week and 15 shifts monthly.

• Capability to work overnight shifts during EST/CST hours, including 3–4 weekend shifts.

• Comfort in working with various health systems and managing differing patient acuity levels.

• Active PMHNP license in Texas is preferred.

• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

• An active PMHNP-BC license in the U.S. is mandatory.
