NOC Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the performance of networks and systems utilizing various monitoring tools and software.

• Detect and resolve network and system problems, escalating issues when necessary.

• Execute fundamental system and network configurations and deployments.

• Ensure precise documentation of network and system configurations and modifications.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement solutions.

• Keep track of and respond to alerts and notifications.

• Relay network and system issues to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Take part in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents outside of regular hours as needed.

• Create and meticulously document tickets to account for time spent.

• Handle personal workload effectively while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with network and system monitoring tools.

• Experience with ConnectWise Ticketing, OpenDNS, Kaseya VSA, and PRTG is advantageous.

• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

• Basic knowledge of server and operating system principles, particularly Windows and Linux.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Keen attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.

• The selected candidate must pass criminal and department of motor vehicles background checks.

• Must fulfill Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements after employment.
