Night Dispatch Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor active shipments during the night to ensure real-time visibility and updates.

• Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal teams concerning shipment status, delivery timelines, and service-related issues.

• Regularly update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with precise information.

• Organize pickup and delivery appointments while ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled.

• Recognize, escalate, and address operational exceptions, delays, and service interruptions.

• Manage customer inquiries and complaints by providing prompt solutions and follow-up.

• Compile overnight reports and relay critical updates to the morning operations team.

• Ensure accurate documentation while promoting effective collaboration with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and account management within the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.

• A recent degree from a college or university in Marketing or a Business-related discipline is essential.

• Previous experience in an analyst position or within a pricing function is advantageous.

• Ability to comprehend business processing requirements through technology and devise creative solutions.

• Experience in B2B sales involving complex transactions is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and customer relationship management skills.

• Proven negotiation skills with a successful closing track record.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
