Night Dispatch Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor active shipments during weekend overnight hours, ensuring real-time visibility and service performance.

• Interact with customers, drivers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status, delivery timelines, and operational challenges.

• Maintain and update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with precise and timely information.

• Arrange pickup and delivery appointments while ensuring customer specifications are fulfilled.

• Recognize, escalate, and address service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions.

• Manage customer inquiries and complaints, delivering prompt solutions and follow-up.

• Compile and disseminate overnight reports, conveying essential updates and exceptions to the daytime operations team.

• Keep accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.

• A recent degree from a college or university in Marketing or a related Business field is required.

• Previous experience in an analyst position and/or pricing function is advantageous.

• Capability to comprehend business processing needs using technology and to devise innovative implementation solutions.

• Experience in B2B sales involving intricate deals is a plus.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationship management.

• Proven negotiation skills with a successful track record in closing deals.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
