Night Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Execute night audit functions to uphold financial controls and adhere to hotel standards.

• Collaborate with Security, Housekeeping, and other departments to guarantee high-quality guest service.

• Compile daily Restaurant Revenue Report information by reviewing Point of Service tapes/journals.

• Analyze revenue, covers, waitstaff fees, tips disbursed, and settlements by type and cashier.

• Generate audit reports and journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and computer.

• Make necessary corrections and adjustments, and address computer issues during the shift.

• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to produce daily reports.

• Reconcile revenue and settlement accounts each night.

• Organize files and prepare the system for operations the following day.

• Adhere to attendance policies and perform other assigned job-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous hotel experience is preferred.

• Fundamental mathematical skills are required.

• Capability to perform precise mathematical calculations using a 10-key device.

• Ability to address guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

• Proficient in accessing and accurately entering information using a moderately complex computer system.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Flexibility in communication style to suit supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

• Consistent attendance and availability to work regularly are necessary.
