New Patient Coordinator, Behavioral Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support the Behavioral Health Department by effectively registering new patients.

• Deliver business services to patients and the healthcare system.

• Ensure precise patient registration.

• Verify insurance details and authorizations.

• Collect patient charges and payments.

• Manage a multi-line phone system while adhering to telephone protocols.

• Assist patients as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of Medical Experience.

• 1–2 years of Customer Service Experience.

• 1–2 years of Insurance Experience.

• High School Diploma.

• Intermediate knowledge of insurance processes.

• Familiarity with medical records.

• Experience with operating a multi-line telephone system.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Ability to align patient care needs with available services.

• Good judgment in triaging patients with urgent needs over the phone.
